DAY 1, THURSDAY
USA - MOSCOW
Board your trans-Atlantic jet this evening for an overnight flight to Moscow.

DAY 2, FRIDAY
MOSCOW
You'll be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is free for independent activities and meeting your fellow travelers. Tonight, gather with your traveling companions for a Welcome dinner.(D)

DAY 3, SATURDAY
MOSCOW
Moscow, one of the largest cities in the world, is the symbolic heart and soul of the country. Sightseeing begins at Red Square, dominated by St. Basil’s Cathedral and the massive red walls of the Kremlin. We visit the Armory, with its impressive collection of Tsarist, Russian and foreign jewelry and armor. Then proceed to see Moscow University and the popular Arbat shopping district. Drive on wide boulevards and stroll through GUM, the largest Russian department store. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B)

DAY 4, SUNDAY
MOSCOW
Today we travel 75 km north of Moscow, to a small town of Sergiev Posad, former Zagorsk – founded in the 14th century and renowned as a center of ancient Russian art and architecture. For centuries it served as a place of pilgrimage and the religious capital of Russia. Within the old walled city admire the fairy-tale golden and blue domes of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra, one of the most beautiful of all monasteries. After lunch at a popular restaurant, return to Moscow, the rest of the day at leisure. (B, L)

DAY 5, MONDAY
MOSCOW – ST. PETERSBURG
Enjoy time at leisure, before we transfer you to the railway station for our four hours high speed Sapsan train ride to St. Petersburg. Upon arrival at the St. Petersburg train station, you will be transferred to your hotel. (B, D)

DAY 6, TUESDAY
ST.PETERSBURG
There are not many cities in the world that can match the grace of St. Petersburg. When Peter the Great founded the city in 1703, he hired Europe’s best architects, craftsmen and artists to build and decorate it. Spread over 100 islands linked by over 600 bridges, it is often referred to as "Venice of the North”. The morning sightseeing tour will feature Palace Square, Senate Square with the monument to Russian Emperor Peter the Great, the founder of the city, St. Isaac’s Square with St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Smolny Cathedral, Cruiser Aurora, Field of Mars, and Nevsky Prospect. Visit to Peter and Paul Fortress, built on a small island in 1703. (B)

DAY 7, WEDNESDAY
ST.PETERSBURG
The morning sightseeing tour will feature the world-famous Hermitage which houses many art treasures from the Czarist era. The balance of a day is at leisure. (B, D)

DAY 8, THURSDAY
ST.PETERSBURG - TALLINN
We continue to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, situated on the southern coast of the Bay of Finland. This is an old town with typical narrow, medieval streets, towers, town walls, Gothic churches, merchant and manor houses from the 13th to 17th centuries. (B,D)

DAY 9, FRIDAY
TALLINN - RIGA
Our morning sightseeing tour of Tallinn features Town Hall, the orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Toompea Castle. We then travel to Riga, capital of Latvia. (B,D)

DAY 10, SATURDAY
RIGA
This morning’s sightseeing tour features Riga Castle, housing the Pioneer Palace and the Museums of History, the magnificent Dome Cathedral, St. Jacobs Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Parliament building, Liberty Monument and the district of Art Nouveau houses. Your afternoon is free. (B)

DAY 11, SUNDAY
RIGA - VILNIUS
In the morning, we travel to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. (B,D)

DAY 12, MONDAY
VILNIUS
St. Peter and Paul Church with over 2,000 statues and reliefs, Upper Town with Gedimas Tower and Vilnius Castle are the highlights of our morning sightseeing tour. The afternoon is free. (B)

DAY 13, TUESDAY
VILNIUS - WARSAW
We bid farewell to Lithuania and cross into Poland. At day’s end, we reach Warsaw, the capital. (B,L,D)

DAY 14, WEDNESDAY
WARSAW
Your sightseeing tour includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture, the Saxon gardens, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Barbican. Continue with a walking tour of Old Town, Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. Use the balance of the day for shopping or attend an optional late afternoon Chopin concert. (B)

DAY 15, THURSDAY
WARSAW - KRAKOW
Captivating scenery unfolds before us on our journey to Krakow via Czestochowa, Poland's pilgrimage center known for the blackened picture of St. Mary popularly called the "Black Madonna". In the afternoon we drive to Auschwitz, site of the infamous concentration camp. (B,D)

DAY 16, FRIDAY
KRAKOW
Wawel Castle, St. Mary’s Church, the Renaissance Cloth Hall and other historic landmarks are included in our morning city sightseeing tour. The afternoon is free for independent activities. (B)

DAY 17, SATURDAY
KRAKOW - PRAGUE
After a drive through the Polish countryside, we cross into the Czech Republic. Then it’s on to Prague, with its Baroque churches, promenades, parks and ancient city walls. (B,D)

DAY 18, SUNDAY
PRAGUE
A morning sightseeing tour takes us to the Royal Castle of Hradcany and the old part of town to view the Jewish Ghetto, see the astrological clock and tour other sights of this captivating city. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B)

DAY 19, MONDAY
PRAGUE - VIENNA
Today’s destination is the "City of the Waltz”, Vienna, one of Europe’s loveliest capitals. (B)

DAY 20, TUESDAY
VIENNA
On our morning sightseeing tour, visit the Hofburg, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. We also view the Belvedere Palace, Prater amusement park, the UN building, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and other vivid reminders of the city’s imperial past. Tonight enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

DAY 21, WEDNESDAY
VIENNA - USA
After breakfast, we transfer you to the airport, where you board your home-bound flight. (B)
